First top down drive of 2018,

-and the first time I’ve washed it since buying it. It hadn’t been cleaned for some time before then either.

It really cleans up nicely! Also, did you paint the calipers, or where they so dirty that you don’t notice the colour in the first photo?

I think the blue calipers are overspray from when it had paint at some point- they didn’t do a very good job! Might just go back to black ones when I get a chance to do it.

I do have the strap but it’s detached from the roof- forgot to sort it today. The top is very tired all over with big duct tape patches over holes- the plan is to get a Mohair top fitted from the guy everyone seems to use in Swansea. Not sure when I can get that done yet though.

Should be a nice upgrade, I think I saw a couple of those on the forums. Plain black, or something a bit more colourful?

I replaced mine (years ago) with a canvas top— huge, huge improvement.

(Mine was white, and I replaced the black vinyl with maroon canvas)

Probably stick with black. If it was silver or gray I’d go with the red like the later models.
